At Boura & White, we believe that exceptional interiors are born from the fusion of expert craftsmanship and exquisite materials. This philosophy led us to work with Pukka Print, a distinguished fabric house renowned for its hand-block printed linens that seamlessly blend traditional Indian chintz designs with a unique English aesthetic.

This partnership is beautifully showcased in our Perfect Chair, which we have upholstered in two distinct styles, each highlighting the artistry and versatility of Pukka

Print fabrics:

  • A fixed cover version in Dani Airforce & Jam—a tailored, structured look that feels timeless and refined.
  • A pelmet version in Dani Brighton Sunlight—adding a softer, more relaxed aesthetic that enhances the chair’s elegant shape.

Why We Chose Pukka Print

Founded by Juliet Cornell in 2011, Pukka Print was born from a deep love of interiors, textiles, and printmaking. Juliet’s journey took her to Bombay, where she immersed herself in the rich tradition of Indian textiles and block printing techniques. This passion and expertise are reflected in Pukka Print’s collections, which align with our own values of quality, authenticity, and craftsmanship.

The Dani Collection: Tradition and Elegance

The Dani Collection, featured on our Perfect Chairs, draws inspiration from Mughal motifs, incorporating blooming florals with the Indian Poppy flower at its core. The collection’s rich textures and intricate patterns bring a timeless sophistication to our furniture designs, allowing us to offer our clients bespoke pieces that feel both classic and contemporary.

  • The Dani Airforce & Jam fabric, featured on our fixed cover Perfect Chair, combines deep navy tones with rich berry hues, making it an ideal statement piece.
  • The Dani Brighton Sunlight fabric, showcased on our pelmet Perfect Chair, embraces softer, sunlit tones, perfect for a relaxed and inviting space.

Whether structured or softened, each version reflects the beauty of bespoke furniture and hand-printed textiles working in harmony.

A Commitment to Sustainability and Craftsmanship

At Boura & White, our values align with Pukka Print’s dedication to sustainability and ethical craftsmanship. Their commitment to responsible design and transparency ensures that every fabric used in our furniture has been ethically sourced and carefully crafted.

Likewise, every Perfect Chair is handmade in the UK by skilled artisans, with upholstery entrusted to a single seamstress, ensuring precise pattern matching and an impeccable finish. These methods ensure that every Boura & White piece meets the highest standards of quality, comfort, and longevity.

Looking Ahead: Timeless Collaboration and Future Designs

This collaboration with Pukka Print continues to inspire new designs and possibilities. By combining their mastery of hand-block printed fabrics with our expertise in bespoke furniture, we have crafted a collection that embodies tradition, artistry, and innovation.

Introducing the New Collection: Samarkand SS25 by Pukka Print

Pukka Print's Samarkand SS25 collection draws inspiration from the historic Silk Routes to Uzbekistan, the birthplace of Suzani textiles. This debut screen-printed range features four intricate prints—Tulip Chain, Pomegranate, Diamond, and Pani—alongside two elegant weaves, Soutane Stripe and Twill Weave.

Each piece is meticulously hand-printed in India, reflecting Pukka Print's commitment to artisanal craftsmanship. The collection's palette, including the serene Wave & Plaster colourway, offers a calming, layered aesthetic that seamlessly integrates into both contemporary and traditional interiors. With Samarkand, Pukka Print continues to blend historical inspiration with modern design sensibilities, creating textiles that are both timeless and distinctive.
